How to use TVCrown with a VPN

If a VPN is connected, use the VPN playlist. If it is not, use the normal playlist.

The simple rule

No VPNUse the normal / NO-VPN playlist

If you are not connected to a VPN, keep the standard TVCrown playlist selected.

VPN connectedUse the VPN playlist

In TiviMate, choose “Tvcrown (use with VPN)” after the VPN is connected.

Why this matters

TVCrown has a normal playlist and a VPN playlist. They are not interchangeable. Using the wrong one is a common cause of Error 511 and Error 403.

If channels still do not work

  1. Confirm the VPN is actually connected, or fully disconnected.
  2. Switch to the matching playlist.
  3. Refresh or reload the playlist.
  4. Restart the app.
